The Marmalade Murders by Elizabeth J. Duncan

Spa owner Penny is asked to help with the local agricultural show by judging the children's pet contest and checking in the entries for the cake, jam, and marmalade competitions. Things go awry when one of the contestants barely gets her entries in on time and a body is found under one of the tables as the fair is concluding. Penny's detecting instincts go into overdrive as she tries to discover the murderer. Another really enjoyable entry in the long-running Penny Brannigan cozy mystery series.
