All the Queen's Men by S.J. Bennett
It's the Fall of 2016 and a female employee at Buckingham Palace is found dead by the swimming pool. Was the death an accident or murder? Could the death have something to do with a series of poison pen letters that are being sent to a number of women who work at the palace, including the Queen's Assistant Private Secretary Rozie Oshodi? The Queen, with help from Rozie, decides to secretly investigate in order to put things right. While I thoroughly enjoyed all the details about Queen Elizabeth's daily life and thoughts and her relationship with Rozie, the mystery itself was overly long and I wished the secondary characters were more well-developed.
