Summer Longing by Jamie Brenner
Successful businesswoman Ruth Cooperman has retired to Provincetown and is renting a home for the summer while waiting for the perfect place to come on the market. When someone leaves a baby on her doorstep, Ruth finds herself involved in the lives of the house's owners, Elise and Fern, who own the shop Tea by the Sea. Ruth also realizes that she should try to mend her relationship with her daughter, Olivia, who has always felt that Ruth put career before motherhood. With a bit of subterfuge, Ruth is able to convince Olivia to come visit. Summer Longing details the lives of Ruth, Elise, and Olivia over one summer in this close-knit seaside town. The book will be published in May.
