When Hollis Shaw's husband dies in a car accident, she puts her popular food blog "Hungry with Hollis" on hiatus. Mourning Matthew and having to face the fact that she and Matthew were growing apart before his death is difficult. To boost her spirits, Hollis decides to host "a five star weekend" at her home on Nantucket for the four friends who have meant the most to her in the different decades of her life. The four women--Tatum, Dru-Ann, Brooke, and Gigi--come with baggage of their own, in addition to the fact that they really don't know each other (other than through Hollis). Will the weekend be fabulous or a flop? Hilderbrand, as usual, transports the reader to summer life on Nantucket, letting you bask in perfect weather, great food, and the lives of its inhabitants.
Reading for the fun of it!
